Jomchang - Ownership Options

Though houses can be owned in a foreign name in Thailand , interest in land can currently (for foreigners) only be acquired through a leasehold. The updated structure at Jomchang will provide for each buyer to hold lease rights over his land plot, and in addition each buyer will construct and directly own his Villa in his own name.

To offer purchasers at Jomchang the best possible interest in their investment a holding company has been established which , directly or indirectly controls rights to all remaining project land, common areas and site development improvements. The remaining Jomchang villa investors / plot lessees will manage their interest in the Jomchang development through lease rights to a Villa Plot and their interest in this holding company.

We will be pleased to explain the subtleties of these various options in more detail and/or refer you to local lawyers who can review the structure for you.
