
The 64 apartments will be sold as freehold condominiums under The Condominium Act ( 1979 ) which allows 49% of the total registered area to be under direct foreign ownership.
Under the condominium act, strata title deeds will be issued for all 64 apartments, which in turn means that you actually obtain a title deed issued by the Land Department of Thailand as proof of ownership.
For the remaining 51%, ownership has three possible scenarios. Either Thai Nationals, Thai companies can own direct or for foreigners, we enter into a leasehold agreements. A Leasehold agreement is a perpetual 30 year lease arrangement which is also registered at the Land Department of Thailand.
